Appointment : deputation/contract basis.
 

Remuneration :Rs.67000-(annual increment @ 3%) – 79000/- General Central Service, (Group ‘A’)

Eligibility:-

(A) Deputation:-
  (Including short term contract)
age limit : 67

Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union territories or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Semi-Government or Statutory & Autonomous organizations.
(a)(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in parent Cadre/Department

OR

(ii) With three years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band IV Rs.37400-67000 with Grade Pay of Rs.10,000 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.

And

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience.
(i) Master’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) Fifteen year’s experience (including research work) in education or libraries or Archives or database Management out of which five years’ experience shall be in administrative matter.


(B) On Contract Basis

age limit : 56 

Persons possessing the qualifications and experience as at (a) and (b) above.
Note:- Appointment on contract basis shall be for a period of three years and may be extended subject to satisfactory performance and maximum age limit of seventy years.

Desirable:

(1) Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Management from a recognized University/Institute or
equivalent.
(2) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent in Library Sciences or Information Technology.
